First meeting for March of the Webster City City Council is Monday evening, March 2nd at 6:00p.m.

A public hearing on the proposed expansion of the Webster City Riverview Urban Renewal Area will be on this Monday evening’s agenda of the Webster City City Council. Meeting time is set for 6:00 in the council chambers. The ordinance providing for the Division of Taxes Levied on Taxable Property in the March,2026 Addition to the Webster City Riverview Urban Renewal Area will be discussed at the council session. The date of March 16th at 6:05 p.m.. will be set for a meeting on the proposal to approve a development agreement with Brew Oil, LLC including the Annual Appropriation Tax Increment Payments for the truck stop on Closz Drive.

In other matters at Monday evening’s council session, two ordinances will be reviewed. The first one is for false fire alarms. The second is for the establishment of new rates for electrical energy sold by the city of Webster City for residents and businesses. The date of April 6th at 5:45 p.m. will be set for a public hearing for Webster City’s Property Tax Levy. The revised plat for the Lynx Development will be reviewed by the council. There will be the awarding and execute contracts for the East Twin Park Shelter Project for the concrete and plumbing to Burgin Concrete Construction and Riley-Armstrong Heating and Cooling in the amount of $43,175. The council will authorize and execute an employee share agreement between the City of Webster City and the Webster City Community Schools for a communication director.
