The Jewell City Council announced at their meeting this week that they will be appointing someone to serve on the council. The person will succeed Scott Rohloff who stepped down from the council at a recent meeting. Those wishing to apply for the council position may contact the Jewell City Hall during their business hours Monday through Fridays. The person appointed for the city council seat will serve until December 31,2027. The new council member will be announced at the February 23rd Jewell City Council meeting.
