OSAGE, Ia. — The Eagle Grove Eagles wrestling team returned to action on Tuesday night, as they made the trip north into Mitchell County to compete in a Top of Iowa Conference tri-dual at Osage High School with the Osage Green Devils and the Lake Mills Bulldogs. The Eagles entered the meet with a dual record of 13-3.
Eagle Grove would fall to Lake Mills to begin the evening by a margin of 50-16, as the Eagles wins came by a fall from Keegan Eisentrager (138), a major decision from Colson Schafer (144), and decisions from Jayden Kreitlow (175) and Christian Schild (190).
The Eagles then lost to the hosts in Osage by a score of 58-17, as the Eagles would pick up wins from a fall by Christian Schild (190), a major decision from Dylan Terwilliger (126) and Jayden Kreitlow (175) and a decision from James Harle (285).
Eagle Grove wrestling returns to action on Saturday, when they travel to Perry to compete in the Perry Tournament, beginning at 9:30 AM.
