South Hamilton volleyball falls at home to Greene County in HOIAC play, 3-1

JEWELL — The South Hamilton Hawks volleyball team returned to action on Thursday night, as they hosted the Greene County Rams in Heart of Iowa Conference action on Jim Marsh Court at South Hamilton High School. South Hamilton entered at 19-12 and 4-3 in league play, while Greene County entered at 13-9 and 4-1 in league play.

Greene County took control to start the match by winning the opening set 25-16, but South Hamilton would answer with a 25-19 win in set 2 to even things up at 1-1. Set 3 would be a total domination by Greene County, as the Rams won 25-6, before holding off the Hawks in set 4 for a 25-19 win and 3-1 victory.

Stats were not available on Bound as of Friday morning, South Hamilton volleyball returns to action on October 22nd, when they open Class 2A, Region 2 action at South Hardin with first serve at 7 PM.
