Last meeting of the year for Hamilton County Conservation Board set for December 18.

The last meeting for 2023 for the Hamilton County Conservation Board will be at 9:30 Monday morning,December 18th at the Briggs Woods Conservation Headquarters south of Webster City. The board will get a park ranger position update, setting fees for 2024 camping and recreation rates and related fees and a look at the reservations cancellation policy. There will also be the setting of golf rate fees for 2024 at the conservation board session and a report on the past season at Briggs Woods Golf Course.
In other matters, there will be the discussion of a grant agreement with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources for a new boat ramp on the south end of Little Wall Lake south of Jewell. Hamilton County conservation director Brian Lammers will present his report plus other matters.
