Fort Dodge Police are investigating a shooting that happened Sunday night at 8:42 p.m. The incident was reported of someone being shot in the 200 block Third Avenue Northwest. When police arrived on the scene, they located one unresponsive male with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers began life-saving efforts on the male until Fort Dodge Fire Department medics arrived. The male was pronounced dead on the scene. The name of the individual has not been released. Fort Dodge Police and the Webster County Sheriff’s Department are investigating the Sunday night shooting.
