Amanda Ostrem of rural Stanhope is the 2023 Hamilton County Fair Queen. She was crowned during ceremonies Wednesday night at the fair grandstand. Ostrem will represent Hamilton County at the Iowa State Fair Queen contest next month in Des Moines. She succeeds retiring fair queen Alley Odland.
Also honored last night were 1st Runner up-Kaitlyn Schroeder of Radcliffe.
2nd Runner up-Addison Hayes of rural Webster City
Miss Leadership-Amanda Ostrem and
Miss Congeniality-Emily Waugh of Jewell. The other contestants in the Hamilton County Fair Queen competition were Lexi Collins of rural Stratford, Kendyl Daniels of rural Duncombe,Dakota Oberender of rural Jewell, Morgan Paulson of Boone, and Lauren Vold of rural Jewelll.
