First Congregational Church United Church of Christ invites you to their Brownie Sundae Drive-Thru, to be held Friday, June 23, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at 1000 Willson Ave. If the event is rained out, we will hold it the following Friday, June 30.
Free-will donations for the sundaes will be sent to the Enhance Hamilton County Foundation’s Food Pantry Challenge, which benefits local food pantries. What a wonderful way to enjoy a summer treat–while doubling your donation’s impact on hunger in our communities!
Here’s how it works: Going north on Willson Avenue, stop at the west entrance to the church. An attendant will come to your vehicle to take your order and receive your donation. Your order will then be brought to your vehicle, and you simply drive off and find a spot to enjoy your sundae! Ice cream is available for those who do not wish to have a brownie sundae, and the bowls, spoons, and napkins provided are all made of compostable materials.
