Residents are asked to leave their food items by the mailboxes Saturday so the letter carriers may pick them up. The need is great this year for those who are food insecure. Webster City residents may also bring their non perishable food items to the post office box lobby anytime before Saturday. On Saturday afternoon the food will be delivered to the Upper Des Moines Opportunity food pantry. In addition monetary donations will be accepted. Checks can be made out to NALC Branch 655. All donations will stay local at Upper Des Moines Opportunity in Webster City. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
