Webster City girls compete in Humboldt Wildcat Relays

The Webster City Lynx girls track team made the trip north on Monday evening, to compete in the Humboldt Wildcat Relays at Humboldt High School. The Lynx were joined by the host Wildcats, as well as Algona, Estherville-Lincoln Central, Hampton-Dumont-CAL, Pocahontas Area, Southeast Valley and St. Edmond.

Webster City would not win an event in the meet, but would pick up a trio of third place finishes, as Cloe Savitski would place 3rd in the 100 meter dash in a time of 13.27, as well as 3rd in the 200 meter dash in a time of 28.20, while Tateelina Vankham placed 3rd in the long jump with a mark of 13′ 11″.

Webster City would place 8th in the meet with 45 points, Humboldt was the team champion of their home meet with 155.5 points. Full results can be found online on Bound.
