Hamilton County sheriff Doug Timmons announced Wednesday that 34 year old Kayla Lynn Reynolds was taken into custody on Tuesday night without incident. Reynolds was one of two people involved in an incident in Jewell on January 25. Sheriff Timmons said the arrest of Reynolds and 37 year old Christopher William Hawken were the result of tips made to Hamilton County Crime Stoppers. The sheriff’s office would like to thank the Crime Stoppers for their hard work and dedication.
Reynolds will make her initial appearance during a preliminary hearing set for Tuesday, February 8 at 11:00 a.m. in Hamilton County Magistrate Court. She is charged with First Degree Burglary,Willful Injury Causing Bodily Injury and Violation of Terms and Conditions of Release with an original charge of Possession of Marijuana Third Offense. Last week 37 year old Christopher William Hawken was arrested following the same incident. Hawken has an arraignment hearing set for Monday, February 21st at 1:00 p.m. in Hamilton County District Court. Hawken is charged with First Degree Burglary, Violation of a No Contact Order for Domestic Abuse, Willful Injury Causing Bodily Injury and two probation violation warrants.
