The South Hamilton Community School Board Friday night approved the hiring of Dan Brodie as the new school athletic director. Brodie will succeed Todd Coy who will be retiring on May 31,2022. Brodie will continue his role as social studies teacher, head girls track coach and assistant football coach. Brodie’s salary will be at $71,045.
The South Hamilton board voted not to make up the January 14 snow day. There will be a professional development day on Monday, February 14. School staff will participate in a full day Crisis Intervention Institute training workshop in Webster City with area school teachers and administrators.
