The Eagle Grove wrestling teams made the trip north and west on Saturday to compete in the Austin Roberts Memorial Tournament at Spencer High School. The Eagles were one of 15 schools represented on Saturday’s tournament.
The top individual placer for the Eagles on Saturday was Dustin Dawson, who placed 4th at 132 pounds and finished 3-2 on the day. Mack Morgan, Jack Mendoza and Isaac Olson all placed 5th in the meet at 106 pounds, 195 pounds and 220 pounds respectively.
Connor Christopher and Damon Richter placed 6th at 126 pounds and 285 pounds, while Kaden Pritchard placed 7th at 120 pounds. Eagle Grove returns to action on Tuesday with a quadrangular with Mason City Newman, North Butler and Saint Ansgar.
