South Hamilton volleyball falls to Roland-Story on Tuesday

The South Hamilton volleyball team traveled south on Highway 69 to take on rival Roland-Story in Heart of Iowa Conference play. South Hamilton entered with an 11-13 record, while the Norsemen held a mark of 18-5.

The Hawks would give their rivals a tough battle, as they kept it neck-and-neck in set 1, before Roland-Story would pull away for a 25-18 win. South Hamilton continued to battle, this time staying with the Norsemen until the end of the set, which resulted in a 25-22 Roland-Story victory. Set 3 saw South Hamilton keep pace with the Norsemen once more, but ran out of steam at the end of the set, to fall 25-17.

With the win, Roland-Story claimed no less, than a share of the Heart of Iowa Conference Championship. South Hamilton fell to 11-14 with the loss.
