South Hamilton will even out it’s record in conference play, following Thursday’s loss to Greene County, as the Hawks travel to Des Moines to take on Saydel. The Eagles come in with a 1-14 record, with their lone win coming against the Perry Jayettes.
The Eagles are lead offensively by a trio of hitters, including sophomore Grace Peck, junior Payton Ballard and senior Lauren Vance, who have 24 kills, 23 kills, and 28 kills, respectively. Peck also leads the team in assists with 75, while juniors Payton Ballard and Kathryn Van Houten lead the team in blocks with 9. Caydance Sharp leads the team in digs with 120.
South Hamilton will look to follow the lead of their senior leaders in Taylor Remsburg, Caleigh Hewitt, Mackenzy Grady, Miranda Deppe, Paige Evans and Trista Strohman.
