Jewell- There will be more discussion at this Monday evening’s meeting of the Jewell City Council on plans for the work on the municipal outdoor swimming pool. Last month a CAT (Community Attract Tourism) grant was awarded to the city of Jewell by the Iowa Economic Development Authority for the pool project. The council will discuss the Hamilton County Growth Partnership annual meeting attendance costs. Other matters for the Jewell City Council will be maintenance for the City Hall, a report from the Public Works Department and a locator for water and sewer services.
