Wilson Brewer Park and Depot Foundation Board to meet this Thursday, August 13th at Fuller Hall Sampson Room.

Webster City- The August meeting of the Wilson Brewer Park and Depot Foundation will be today (Thursday) at 5:30 in the Sampson Room of the Fuller Hall Recreation Center in Webster City. Today’s meeting will include plans for kiosk signage and interpretive signs. A look at the new signage in front of the Depot Museum. There will also be an update on the Webster City High School Class of 1975 Picnic Table and Shelter Gift made recently at the park.

The other matters to be covered include what to do about a leak in one of the roofs at the cabin, Jerry Foster Repair Work on the Raven Display Cases, an update on the train display and the findings from the fire marshal and the painting from the Boone River Area Art Guild.

The board will consider the purchase of ceiling tiles for the basement to begin the model train installation project, setting a date to move basement artifacts to allow work to begin on the model train installation, plans for the October 10th Fallfest and set a work schedule for it. There will also be a look at a scarecrow contest for this autumn and the installation of cameras for the depot and the park’s courthouse.
