Clarion- Another meeting for the Wright County Board of Supervisors is set for Monday morning, August 10th at 9:00 a.m. in the courthouse basement board room in Clarion. Monday’s meeting will be the consideration of a resolution for a General Election question to appoint Township Trustees. The board will consider the approval for the Wright County Economic Development Director to submit an application for the Iowa Leadership Bootcamp 2026, an initiative offered by the Iowa Rural Development Council and Empower Iowa with a letter of support to be signed for the grant application. This Monday at 9:30 a.m., the supervisors will open the sealed bids for the Galt Shed Property with action to follow on the bids. The supervisors will have a closed meeting to discuss the purchase or sale of particular real estate in Wright County. A drainage trustee meeting will be held this Monday morning plus other matters. The Wright County Board of Supervisors meeting this Monday will be video streamed on the Wright County ZOOM and YouTube pages.
