Wide range of questions and comments addressed at the first information meeting on the design and VPPEL vote for Webster City High School Wednesday evening.

Webster City- There was a wide range of questions and comments addressed to the Webster City Community School Board and its High School officials Wednesday evening at Prem Sahai Auditorium in the first of four meetings regarding the facilities design project at the High School and the Voter-Approved Physical Plant Equipment Levy set for Tuesday, September 8th. Superintendent Matt Berninghaus heard from district residents about what the work will include the necessary improvements to the 65-year-old plus school building on Lynx Avenue and for VPPEL authority from the Fiscal Years of 2028 through 2040. Last week, the architects and designers from FEH Design held two days of meetings at the high school addressing comments from the district residents. In case you missed last evening’s meeting, there will be more chances for you to share your thoughts. All of the meetings will be held at Prem Sahai Auditorium on July 28th, August 12th and August 25th all beginning at 6:00 p.m.

KQWC FM 95.7 will present a program on Monday morning, August 10th at 8:30 a.m. with Webster City School superintendent Matt Berninghaus to discuss the project and the September 8th election with our listeners.
