Webster City- The July meeting of the Webster City Park and Recreation Commission will be Thursday afternoon, July 16th at 5:15 in the Sampson Room of the Fuller Hall Recreation Center at Bank and Des Moines Streets. The commission will receive an update on the season thus far at the Outdoor Swimming Pool. The pool reopened Tuesday after being closed for nearly a week after the discovery of a pair of goggles that was shattered in the pool. Crews drained the pool to remove the fragments of glass that could injure the eyes of swimmers. The pool was refilled late last week. Outdoor pool staff will inspect all items brought to the pool for the rest of the season that ends next month. The commission will be update on the parks, the recreation programs and what is happening at Fuller Hall.
