Ellsworth-Plans for a Dollar General for the community of Ellsworth will be on this (Monday) evening’s agenda for the Ellsworth City Council. The council will also look plans for a new dental clinic that is being proposed. Updates from the Ellsworth Community Association will be presented and on the Ellsworth Farmers Market. The Ellsworth City Council will look at a resolution to adopt the ten-year land use comprehensive plan. Other resolutions include setting the policy regarding enforcement of the tree ordinance and to set a date to review the application for a state revolving fund loan and to make available to the public the contents of an environmental information document and the city’s project plan. A request from the Ellsworth Trinity Lutheran Church to use the open park shelter for an event this summer. There will also be an updates from the Ellsworth Public Library and from the Ellsworth Fire and EMS Departments plus other matters. This evening’s council meeting time is set for 6:00 in the Ellsworth City Hall council chambers.
