The formation of a High School Facilities Advisory Committee including Associated Scope and Purpose will be one of the topics at this Monday evening’s meeting of the Webster City Community School Board. Discussion of a renovation project for the over 65-year-old school has been looked at for the past year by the school board. There will be an amendment to the 2026-27 School Calendar. Webster City School superintendent Matt Berninghaus will present his report to the board on school activities including preparations for this Wednesday’s High School Awards Program and the Commencement ceremony set for next Sunday,May 17th at 2:00 p.m. at the high school gym. In other board matters, they will review contractual matters, consideration of donations and fund-raising requests. The Webster City Community School Board meets this Monday evening, May 11th at 6:00 at the school board room at 820 Des Moines Street.
