Iowa State Patrol investigate one vehicle accident in eastern Hamilton County Wednesday morning.

The Iowa State Patrol investigated a one vehicle on Hamilton County Road R-77 at around 7:00 Wednesday morning in eastern Hamilton County. Reportedly a southbound 2009 model Dodge Nitro SUV crossed the center line, went into the ditch, hit an embankment and flipped landing on it top on the other side of the ditch. The driver was not located at the accident scene. Investigating Iowa State Patrol Dylan Hoelscher reported the damage to the Dodge SUV was totaled in the crash.
