Webster City Police late Monday night investigated an accident in the 900 block of Walnut Street. Reportedly a westbound 2004 model Chevrolet K-1500 truck operated by Mason Leper of Webster City rolled onto its top side of the roadway laying in a driveway. There was also a 2008 model Chevrolet pickup that was displaced over the curb with impact damage to the driver side door. The black Chevrolet pickup was unoccupied with the name of the owner not available. It was parked on the street before being struck by the Leper truck. Leper was checked over for any injuries and refused medical attention. The Leper truck hit a patch of ice, lost control of his vehicle and then hit the parked Chevrolet pickup truck. The impact caused the vehicle to roll over on its topside. The two trucks were totaled in the accident. Investigating Webster City Police officer Mateo Martinez cited Mason Leper with Driving While Suspended as a result of the accident.
