The approval of the budgets for the Ellsworth Fire and EMS and for the Public Library will be discussed at the Tuesday evening meeting of the Ellsworth City Council set for 6:00 p.m. in the city hall in Ellsworth. The other matters Tuesday evening will include a report from the Ellsworth Community Association, a MIDAS LMI survey submission. There will be a discussion of the public works budget for the 2027 Fiscal Year. The council will review the Ellsworth City Audit for 2025, nuisance trees around the city, set the date for property tax levy hearing and for the 2027 budget proposal and discussion plus other matters.
