The next meeting for the Hamilton County Conservation Board is scheduled for Thursday, February 26th at 9:30 in the conservation office at Briggs Woods Park south of Webster City. The agenda for the meeting include an update on projects in the park and recreation areas of Hamilton County. The year-end report from the superintendent of the Briggs Woods Golf Course and the setting of the rental rate in the basement room of the course will be discussed. The board will consider the purchase agreement with the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation, a review of the conservation budget and a report by Hamilton County Conservation director Brian Lammers plus other matters that may come before the board at the February 26th council meeting.
