FOREST CITY, Ia. — The Eagle Grove Eagles girls basketball team returned to action on Saturday night, as they made the trip to Winnebago County to take on the Forest City Indians in Class 3A, Region 7 quarterfinal action at Forest City High School.
Forest City would dominate from the opening tip, leading 32-6 after the first quarter, blowing the lead up to 58-19 at the halftime break. The Indians continued to stymie the Eagles in the 2nd half to come away with an 84-25 victory.

Forest City advances to face the Carroll Tigers in their Class 3A, Region 7 semifinal on Wednesday night with tipoff at 7 PM. Eagle Grove’s season concludes with a record of 5-18, the most wins in a season for the Eagles since a 5-18 campaign in 2020-21.
