Webster City Community Theatre will have 10 nominees for the 2026 Awards of Excellence at the ICTA Gala in March.

The nominees from previous productions by the Webster City Community Theatre last season were announced Wednesday evening. The following nominees include:

Leading role for a play-Rachel Derrig for The Cafe Mocha Murders.

Supporting role for a play- Kathy Oliver for The Cafe Mocha Murders.

Ensemble for a play- The ensemble for Of Men and Cars.

Direction of a play-Loween Getter for Of Men and Cars.

Scenic Design for a play-Patrick O’Laughlin and Alan Yungclas for Of Men and Cars.

Lighting Design for a play-Sam Ose and Anne Blankenship for Of Men and Cars.

Sound Production of a play- Sally Evans with Of Men and Cars.

Sound Effects Design for a play- Katie Hildal and Dane Barner for Of Men and Cars.

Sound Production for a musical-Dave Parrott for Little Shop of Horrors.

Lighting Design for a musical-Sam Ose for Little Shop of Horrors.

 

The winners will be announced at the annual Iowa Community Theater Association Gala coming to the Briggs Woods Conference Center south of Webster City set for Saturday,March 28th.
