The February meeting of the Stratford City Council set for this Monday evening at 7:00 p.m.

The Stratford City Council meets this Monday evening at 7:00 at the Stratford City Hall at 805 Shakespeare. Monday’s agenda includes setting a public hearing for a Property Tax Levy on Monday, March30th. There will be a discussion on outsourcing mowing for the summer of 2026 and set March 9th for a hearing on the Capital Improvement Plan for the 2027 Fiscal Year. The council will consider authorize the City of Stratford Water and Electric Utility businesses paying $100 each in dues to be members of the Stratford Community Development Corporation.

In other matters, the Stratford City Council will consider the approval of Bolton and Menk invoice for $427.50 for the work on the Stratford Municipal Pool leak using LOSST funds and the approval of the Electric Pump invoice for $43,668.24 for the lift station Flygt pump using infrastructure LOSST Funds.  There will also be a discussion and approval of Infrastructure work to be done by Legacy Power. A Community Garden Project for Stratford will be discussed. There will be approval of advertising for the Stratford Pool staff and for the Pool Policy Manual for 2026.A resolution for snow removal at Oakwood Cemetery will be discussed plus other matters on Monday evening.
