A presentation on the planned auxiliary gym for the South Hamilton School District will be a part of this Monday evening’s meeting of the school board starting at 6:00 p.m. in Jewell. Officials with Emergent Architecture of Cedar Falls will present information about the gym. The board will authorize to publish a notice and solicit bids for the Auxiliary Gym project. The South Hamilton board will set a date for the public hearing on the 2026-27 school calendar, appoint a representative to the Hamilton County Conference Board, approve the trust fund transfers and look at personnel matters. There will also be the disposition of obsolete equipment such as a musical production carriage and clock, South Hamilton superintendent Heather Holm, the school principals, the building and grounds director and activities director will each present their reports on Monday evening,February 9th in the Junior/Senior High Board Room
