Constantine Nick (Gus) Dermand, 101, died December 22, 2025, at the Southfield Wellness Assisted Living Center in Webster City, IA. Visitation will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 9:30 – 10:45 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 AM, lunch will be served immediately following the celebration. The Boman Funeral Home of Webster City is in charge of the arrangements. Dermand was a longtime Webster City businessman who co-owned Dermand’s Cafe and served on the Webster City City Council and two terms as mayor Webster City.
