Webster City City Council and Fair Housing Board to meet this Monday evening,January 19th at 6:00 p.m.

The next Webster City City Council meeting will be this Monday evening at 6:00 in the city council chambers. The Monday meeting will include the appointment of Ryan Rupiper to the Wilson Brewer Park Foundation Board for the City/County vacancy for the term expiring on June 30,2027. A resolution approving the Construction Manager at Risk Recommendation for the Wastewater Plant. Another resolution is to approve the City Manager to enter into a contract for the construction for the Wastewater Plant. The Webster City Planning and Zoning  Commission regarding an R-3 Zoning Amendment at 1505 Lynx Avenue will be discussed.

In other matters this Monday evening, the council will hear from Webster City Park and Recreation director Breanne Lesher on bidding for the East Twin Park Shelter project for the concrete and plumbing.  The purchase of a snow plow truck with dump box and plow from REES Truck and Trailer and Henderson Products for $272,505.30 will be reviewed plus other matters this Monday evening.

There will be a closed session of the council for strategy purposes for collective bargaining purposes with the Webster City Fire Department unit for a new contract.

Prior to the council session, there will be a meeting of the Webster City Fair Housing Board with the election of a chairperson and vice chairperson and a review of ordinances.

Monday’s meeting of the Webster City City Council will be presented on the City of Webster City and KQWC Facebook pages. On Tuesday morning, we will interview city manager John Harrenstein at 8:30 on KQWC FM 95.7 about the meeting and looking at other issues in the Webster City area.
