JEFFERSON, Ia. — The South Hamilton Hawks wrestling team returned to action on Thursday night, as they made the drive to Greene County to take on the Greene County Rams and PCM Mustangs in Heart of Iowa Conference action at Greene County High School.
South Hamilton would open the meet up with a 36-30 loss to PCM, as the Hawks saw wins by fall from Hagen Klein (120), Wrigley Eilbeck (126), Parker Stuck (190) and Brody Harris (285), with wins by forfeit from Mason Ostrem (113) and Gaige Willis (215).
The Hawks would then cap the dual with a 36-32 win over the hosts in Greene County. South Hamilton picked up wins by fall from Mason Ostrem (113), Wrigley Eilbeck (126), Gaige Willis (215) and Brody Harris (285), with forfeit wins from Wyatt Morris (128) and Kyler Ziesman (175).
South Hamilton wrestling returns to action on Saturday, as they compete in the annual Perry Tournament at Perry High School, beginning at 9:30 AM.
