The first SALT ( Seniors and Law Enforcement Together) meeting for 2026 is set for Thursday, February 5th at the Briggs Woods Park conservation building at 2490 Briggs Woods Trail. The featured speaker will Hamilton County Conservation naturalist John Laird. He will review the 2025 naturalist programs and a look ahead to what 2026 will bring for programs such as the return of Cops and Bobbers during the Free Fishing weekend in June, Halloween activities at Briggs Woods and Little Wall Lake Parks and the Candy Cane Hike next December at Briggs Woods Park. He will also discuss the plans for the conservation office sharing a vision for the future nature center. The meeting on February 5th begins at 9:00 a.m.
