The Iowa State Patrol investigated an accident last Friday afternoon in Fort Dodge with no injuries reported. The accident at the junction of Highway 169 and Kenyon Road on the city’s west side. The report stated that a southbound 2021 model Chevrolet Tahoe SUV operated by Krystle Graaf of Humboldt was traveling through the Kenyon Road intersection. Traffic was moving slow at the time. The traffic light turned red while she was in the intersection. Meanwhile an eastbound 2014 model Jeep Cherokee SUV operated by Joseph Mernka of Rockwell City was waiting at the traffic light.
