A meeting of the Jewell City Council is set for 7:00 p.m. tonight at the Jewell City Hall. Agenda items include a look back at the 2025 run review of the Jewell Fire and Rescue Department,a look at a water bill for 512 Anderson Street, the job description of the Jewell pool manager, and an update on the Main Street Project for the sidewalk assessment of business owners, accept project construction and the final payment to Jet Drain. There will be a review of the Jewell 2025-26 budget, the wage report for 2025 and on health insurance for employees. Several resolutions will be reviewed by the Jewell city council. They include the appointment of representatives to the Hamilton County 911 Board and Hamilton County Solid Waste Commission, the appointment of a Jewell Fire Chief, adoption of city policies and procedures and the appointment of representatives to the EJS Police Board.
