DES MOINES, Ia. — The Roland-Story Norsemen and South Hamilton Hawks wrestling teams returned to action on Thursday night, as they made the trip to Des Moines to take on the Saydel Eagles in a Heart of Iowa Conference tri-dual at Saydel High School.
Roland-Story would dominate Saydel by a score of 72-12, as the Norsemen picked up pinfall wins from Brady Long (132), Myles Handsaker (157), Colin Grundlingh (175), Chance Georgius (190) and Gavin Jeter (215). Forfeit wins were awarded to Noah Healy (120), Kael Ammerman (126), Caiden Latch (138), Josiah Stotts (144), Greysun Lein (150), Kale Kadolph (165) and Jake Rodgers (285).
The Norsemen then defeated South Hamilton 61-12 with pin wins from Noah Healy (120), Kael Ammerman (126), Brady Long (132), Caiden Latch (138), Myles Handsaker (157), Kale Kadolph (165), and Colin Grundlingh (175), with a major decision from Chance Georgius (190) and a decision from Konnor Blume (113). South Hamilton’s wins were pins from Gaige Willis (215) and Brody Harris (285).
South Hamilton would defeat Saydel in the final dual 48-24, as the Hawks picked up pin wins from Holden Moore (132), Parker Stuck (190), Gaige Willis (215) and Brody Harris (285), with forfeit wins from Hagen Klein (120), Wrigley Eilbeck (126), Jacob Lutjen (138), and Maddux Becker (165).
