GOWRIE, Ia. — The South Hamilton Hawks wrestling team returned to action on Tuesday night, as they made the trek west on Highway 175 to compete in a quad-dual meet at Southeast Valley High School with Southeast Valley, Emmetsburg and East Sac County.
The Hawks would defeat East Sac County by a score of 46-35, as the Hawks picked up wins by pin from Wrigley Eilbeck (126), Parker Stuck (190), Gaige Willis (215) and Brody Harris (215), with a major decision from Holden Moore (138) and forfeits from Mason Ostrem (113), Trace Junker (157) and Kyler Ziesman (175).
Match #2 saw the Hawks fall to Emmetsburg by a score of 60-18, as the Hawks picked up wins by pin from Holden Moore (132) and Gaige Willis (215), with Hagen Klein (120) winning by forfeit.
South Hamilton concluded the meet with facing Southeast Valley, as the Hawks fell to the Jaguars by a score of 53-30. The Hawks saw pinfall wins from Holden Moore (138), Kyler Ziesman (175), Gaige Willis (215) and Brody Harris (285), with a forfeit win for Parker Stuck (190).
South Hamilton wrestling returns to action on Thursday, as they travel to Des Moines to take on the Saydel Eagles and Roland-Story Norsemen in a Heart of Iowa Conference tri-dual at Saydel High School, beginning at 6 PM.
