STORY CITY, Ia. — The Roland-Story Norsemen wrestling team returned to action on Tuesday night, as they hosted a Heart of Iowa Conference tri-dual with the Greene County Rams and West Marshall Trojans at Roland-Story High School.
Roland-Story opened the night with a 65-18 victory over Greene County, as the Norsemen picked up pins from Gavin Jeter (215), Jake Rogers (285), Konnor Blume (113), Brady Long (132) and Greysun Lein (150), with a tech fall from Chance Georgius (190). The Norsemen also picked up forfeit wins from Kale Kadolph (165), Colin Grundlingh (175), Caiden Latch (138) and Josiah Stotts (144).
The Norsemen then fell to West Marshall 53-28, as Roland-Story picked up wins by pin from Caiden Latch (138), Greysun Lein (150), Colin Grundlingh (175) and Gavin Jeter (215), with Chance Georgius winning a major decision at 190.
Roland-Story wrestling returns to action on Thursday, as they travel to Des Moines to take on the Saydel Eagles and South Hamilton Hawks in a Heart of Iowa Conference tri-dual at Saydel High School, beginning at 5:30 PM.
