Arrest warrant and reward offered after a Sunday morning shooting in Fort Dodge

Fort Dodge Police on Tuesday released details of an arrest warrant issued for 22-year-old Davontrez Raeshaun McCuddin of Fort Dodge. He is wanted on a charge of Attempt to Commit Murder (Class B Felony). McCuddin is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. McCuddin should be considered to be armed and dangerous. If anyone knows the whereabouts of McCuddin you are advised to contact law enforcement immediately, A $250 reward will be offered to anyone with information leading to the arrest of the offender. This is in reference to last Sunday morning’s incident in Fort Dodge in which a male shot at a residence in the 900 block of 8th Street Southwest at around 12:30 a.m. The man described as 36 years of age sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Unity Point-Trinity Regional Medical Center for treatment by the Fort Dodge Fire ambulance and then to a hospital in Des Moines where he was reported to be in stable condition. Fort Dodge Fire and Police Departments, the Webster County Sheriff’s Department and Webster County Attorney’s Office continue with the investigation.
