Hamilton County Conservation to kick off 2026 with a Full Moon Hike next Saturday evening,January 3rd at Briggs Woods Park.

The Hamilton County Conservation Board kicks off 2026 with a Full Moon Luminary Night Hike. It will be held on Saturday evening, January 3rd at 7:00 p.m. If you wish to participate, you are asked to meet at the Conservation office to hike while discussing the full moon, constellations, planets and satellites. You will also learn about a smart phone app that helps you identify stars and planets in the night sky. If you plan to attend, please dress warm and feel free to bring a flashlight.
