Busy Monday for the South Hamilton Community School Board to wrap up 2025.

This Monday promises to be a busy one for the South Hamilton Community School Board with two meetings lined up. One is a closed session set for 2:30 p.m.  for the screening of the candidates for the secondary principal position.  Todd Coy, who is the current principal, will retire at the end of this school year in the spring. The regular board meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the swearing in of the elected board members Travis Anderson and Jay Moline. There will be the appointment of a new South Hamilton school board president and vice-president for 2026. The board will review open enrollment requests, fundraisers, accept a resignation and approve a hiring for the school district. South Hamilton school superintendent Heather Holm will have her report to the school board plus other matters.

 

Prior to the regular board meeting, there will be meeting of the retiring school board at South Hamilton. A presentation on the auxiliary gym from Emergent Architecture will be a part of the meeting. The board will consider requests for the high school band and choir trip to Chicago next April, the NAAE ( National Association of Agriculture Educators) conference in Nashville  and for the National School Superintendent’s conference in Nashville in February.
