The Iowa State Patrol on Thursday released the name of the victim of a one vehicle crash in Humboldt County on Wednesday afternoon. He is identified as 83-year-old Paul Bengston of Storm Lake. Reportedly a 2020 model Ford Edge driven by Bengston was traveling eastbound on Highway 3 when for unknown reasons crossed the center line, He then overcorrected, entering a ditch, hit a driveway on 220th Street and rolled a few times. Bengston was pronounced dead at the accident scene. Assisting the Iowa State Patrol at the accident scene were members of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office and Humboldt Fire Department.
