Webster City football announces all-district selections

WEBSTER CITY — The Webster City Lynx football team announced their all-district honorees on Friday afternoon, following Bishop Heelan’s loss to Nevada in the Class 3A State Championship Game. 12 Lynx were honored by the coaches in Class 3A, District 1 for their efforts in the 2025 season.

First-Team

Offensive Line Co-MVP – Cole Nohrenberg, Sr.

Special Teams MVP – Israel Torres, Jr.

  • 36 kickoffs, 25 touchbacks, 1/5 FG, 21/24 PAT

Running Back – Jaxon Griffith, Sr.

  • 165 carries, 894 yards, 6 touchdowns, 5.4 YPC, 9 receptions, 145 yards, 2 touchdowns

Offensive Line – Eli Estlund, Sr.

Offensive Utility – Aiden Hrnicek, Sr.

  • 11/32, 160 yards, 2 touchdowns, 2 interceptions, 135 carries, 699 yards, 13 touchdowns, 5.2 yards per carry

Defensive Utility – Grant Arends, Jr.

  • 28 tackles, 14 solo, 7.5 tackles for loss, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery, 1 interceptions, 5 pass deflections

Running Back – Kaleb Hansen, Jr.
