WEBSTER CITY-Over $2000 was raised on Saturday at the Hamilton County Peace Officers Association Food Drive and Santa’s Helpers Fund Drive at Hy-Vee. The proceeds will help benefit the less fortunate families of children in the Kindergarten through 4th grade in the Hamilton County area. One of the highlights of the benefit was Hamilton County Sheriff Alex Pruismann getting a pie in the face for collecting the most money. Pruismann was in a friendly competition with Webster City Police Chief Steve Hanson at the benefit. Donations for the Hamilton County Peace Officers Christmas benefit will still be accepted. You may contact the Hamilton County Sheriffs Office at 515-832-9500 or by visiting the Hamilton County Peace Officers Association Facebook page for further details.
