Hamilton County Supervisors to meet Wednesday morning,November 12th.

There will be a meeting of the Hamilton County Board of Supervisors set for this Wednesday morning, November 12th at 9:00 a.m. in the downstairs conference room of the Hamilton County Courthouse in Webster City. The board will review reports from the Ames Regional Economic Alliance, the Clerk of Court and a post-election audit update. A temporary construction easement for the Williams Overpass near Williams will be considered.

In other matters, the Hamilton County Supervisors will review resolutions for the Carlson Addition to Hamilton County, an ARPA disbursement, and a tax abatement. There will also be a look at personnel matters. The board will set the date and time to receive public comment on a Master Matrix for Summit Pork,LLP  for the property in Section One of Independence Township. It is located east of Webster City on Hamilton County Road D-20. There will be reports by Hamilton County Supervisors Mary Clausen, April Ely and Rick Young and from board and committees.

A special meeting of the Hamilton County Supervisors will be held this Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 to decide on the election from Kamrar of November 4th. Gerald Huisman won one of the council seats. There is a three-way tie for the two remaining council seats. This is between Dustin Flatebo, Gunther Range and Matthew Wallen. The supervisors will draw two names from the three for the two council seats.

Wednesday’s board meeting is moved to Wednesday due to the observance of Veterans Day on Tuesday. The Hamilton County Courthouse will be closed for the day to reopen again this Wednesday. The meeting will be audio streamed live at www.hamiltoncounty.iowa.gov.
