Every child wants to experience the excitement of receiving presents at Christmas, and the Gift Tree Assistance Program (formerly Angel Tree) in Webster City has been successfully helping families in need provide Christmas gifts for their children. The 2025 Gift Trees are now up, waiting for you to help make a child’s Christmas special!
First State Bank (505 Second Street) and Kendall Young Library (1201 Willson Ave.) are the host sites for the 2025 Gift Trees. At each site there will be a tree with tags of children to be gifted, and each tag will have an ID # and the child’s gender, age, clothing sizes and wish list, and on the back a church will be listed that is the designated drop off site for that particular child’s gifts. There will also be a log book at each site. It is very important to fill out the log for every tag you take so we have a record matching givers with recipients. For 2025 the suggested spending limit is $100. Please do not wrap the gifts; just bring them with the tag to the designated church listed on the back of the tag. Gifts must be returned by Sunday, December 7. Please contact the church listed on the back of your tag in advance to schedule your gift drop off.
Gift Tree recipient families will pick up gifts at churches on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2-4 pm.
