Wright County Board of Supervisors set to meet this Monday morning, November 3rd in Clarion.

The Wright County Board of Supervisors this Monday morning will consider the financial support from an amicus brief in Couser v. Shelby County regarding the Summit Carbon Solutions Pipeline. An “amicus brief” is a legal document submitted to a court by someone who is not a direct party to a case but has a strong interest in its outcome. The supervisors will meet with Wright County Veterans Affairs official Chris Oliver on Operation Green Light and on legislative issues for veterans. Wright County engineer Adam Clemons will have an update on secondary road projects in the county. The drainage trustees will have a meeting after Monday’s board session. The Wright County Board of Supervisors meeting begins at 9:00 a.m. in the courthouse basement board room. The meeting will be video streamed live on wrightcounty.iowa.gov.
