WEBSTER CITY- Webster City Police were dispatched to a residence at 1403 Des Moines Street early Monday morning, October 20th . Upon arrival, the officers located a deceased adult male inside the residence. The cause of death remains under investigation and is pending an autopsy at the Iowa State Medical Examiner’s Office. The identity of the male is being withheld pending proper notification of family members. The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information related to this incident is encouraged to contact Webster City Police. The Webster City Police Department was assisted at the scene by Van Diest Medical Center, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and the Hamilton County Medical Examiner’s Office. The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is assisting in this case.
