STANHOPE-Jori Young was selected as the new city clerk of Stanhope. Young will be officially hired at this Tuesday’s meeting of the Stanhope City Council at the Stanhope Community Center beginning at 6:00. Young was one of three candidates interviewed during a closed session of the council held September 29th.
The Stanhope City Council will discuss about the property at 425 Adams Street at Tuesday’s meeting. There will be a discussion for training for Young as the new city clerk of Stanhope. The council will be updated on a park insurance claim and CIT sewer solutions. Plans for a Community Building Cleanup Day will be on the agenda. The cement project update for School Street in Stanhope will be discussed by the council,set the hours for cleaning staff plus other matters that may come before the Stanhope City Council on Tuesday evening.
